There are times when simple things turn into something quite out of the ordinary. In this case, the man’s immune system should have easily fought off human papillomavirus, or HPV, a wart virus. Instead, things went horribly wrong.
…a genetic flaw has prevented Dede’s immune system from controlling the warts, allowing the virus to produce a substance that caused cutaneous horns on his feet and hands…

I promise no Gerry tomorrow, but I just have to share this photo. This is from the PS I LOVE YOU movie I just posted about yesterday. I won’t go into what looking at this picture does to me, but the term “frisky” does come to mind….

Can’t believe I’ve never heard that the oldest tree fossils were found in New York state, dating back 380 million years old. Now THAT is old! Or how about that 2,000 year old date palm seed that is now a thriving sapling. And there is the story of the bizarre looking tree only known from a 120 million year old fossil suddenly being found alive and well in Sydney, Australia.

Eeeek, I’m late, I know. And, no, I wasn’t out shopping with the crowds on Black Friday. Just had other stuff to do…
So here’s a quickie of Gerry being goofy - that can work as Frisky, right?

Ok, normally I post this kind of stuff over on lesliedicken.com, but I’m doing Thursday Thirteen over there and this just so cracks me up. Watch the top video first. That’s the actual footage of these two cats “talking” to each other. The second video is someone who put “human speech” on the video. You Tube lists others but I like this one best!
