Can’t believe I’ve never heard that the oldest tree fossils were found in New York state, dating back 380 million years old. Now THAT is old!

Or how about that 2,000 year old date palm seed that is now a thriving sapling.

And there is the story of the bizarre looking tree only known from a 120 million year old fossil suddenly being found alive and well in Sydney, Australia.

1) Just got my revisions back for IMPROPER NIGHTS. That’ll keep me busy for the next few weeks.

2) I received an offer for A TARNISHED HEART from Enspiren Press! Just waiting on the contract now! Got the contract last night! Signed and returned it! YIPPEE!! Look for a Spring 2008 release!

3) Last word from my agent was that MARK OF THE MONSTER was one of the next few to be read by the Dorchester editor. Keep those fingers crossed!

Ok, normally I post this kind of stuff over on lesliedicken.com, but I’m doing Thursday Thirteen over there and this just so cracks me up. Watch the top video first. That’s the actual footage of these two cats “talking” to each other. The second video is someone who put “human speech” on the video. You Tube lists others but I like this one best!
