Lord of the Flies still stands out as being one of the most poignant books read in my childhood.

Nice Thursday! I have a good one up on mine, with a few perks!! Check it out!

I have only read two of those, both when I was at school: Wuthering H, which I loathed, and Lord of the Flies, which I really enjoyed.

I’ll have to be the voice of dissent. You’ve got some great ones there, but I think I was permanently scarred by having to read Lord of the Flies in school. Awful, awful book.

zenmomma 29/11/07 - 3:46 am

I’ve only read the first two. So far. I’m not done reading yet!

Secret Agent Mama 29/11/07 - 8:24 am

Great list! HAPPY TT!

Lisa 29/11/07 - 1:52 pm

I loved The Outsiders!

Lisa 29/11/07 - 1:54 pm

Should have also said that I also loathed Lord of the Flies.

I loved Jane Eyre, Wuthering Heights, Frankenstein and Romeo & Juliet.

I know I read The Great Gatsby, but darned if I remember much of it.

Denise Patrick 29/11/07 - 2:48 pm

Great TT!

Great list of books!
