Thursday Thirteen!

Posted by Leslie on February 6th, 2008 | 6 Comments

Wow, what a blast I had…and all in two days!! My visit was far better than I ever expected. There was so much I still didn’t get to see. I did view some of the Katrina wreckage but did not take any pictures of it. In all, I took seventy pictures, so if you want to see the rest, visit my album on Photobucket.

The collection of beads and other goodies thrown at the parade.

Amazing architecture of the French Quarter.

The street of debauchery in the early afternoon.

8. deckedout
A lovely French Quarter home dressed up for Mardi Gras.

Those were great pictures. It makes me want to visit New Orleans sometime. I didn’t realize we had cemeteries with those kinds of mausoleums. I’ve seen them in other countries though.

Great photos! I’d love to visit New Orleans, especially if there is a street of debauchery. What a great holiday destination!
