Lisa Paitz Spindler and I have been friends since August 2000. We met at a writer’s conference and so it’s no wonder that writing is one of our main subjects of conversation, or perhaps the LACK OF our writing. There’s always an excuse why we haven’t gotten any new writing done, whether it be TV, family, tiredness, a full moon…whatever. BUT ENOUGH! We have challenged each other to a Writing War! Each week we’ll post a goal for that week on Wednesday. The next week we’ll post our progess, put up a new goal, and then poke fun, errr…humiliate, um, gently encourage the slacker. So, for the next seven days I commit to writing 10 pages or more on my new story. To kick off this war, I bring you the first of my newly created writing-related LOLCats!
